why we exist

In 2024, Australia’s data denter market hit a critical inflection point. AI workloads arrived demanding 10x the cooling capacity of traditional infrastructure. Operators faced a choice: wait 18-24 months for new construction, or find a way to retrofit existing facilities for liquid cooling. The problem? Traditional MEP contractors weren’t liquid cooling specialists. Equipment vendors could sell systems but not integrate them. And nobody understood the commercial realities - project timelines, budget constraints, and operational continuity requirements that make or break data center retrofits.

FluxTherm was founded to fill that gap. We’re not a generalist MEP firm adapting to a trend. We’re specialists purpose built for one mission: Helping Australasian data center operators deploy AI-Ready infrastructure as fast and cost effectively as possible.
